WPCS Receives $2.3 Million NY Port Authority Contract

EXTON, PA-- (PRNewswire-FirstCall) – August 14, 2006 -- NASDAQ:WPCS - News) – WPCS International Incorporated (NASDAQ: WPCS), a leader in design-build engineering services for specialty communication systems and wireless infrastructure has announced that its Quality Communications subsidiary has received a $2.3 million contract for the Port Authority Trans-Hudson (PATH) Corporation.

The contract is for a wireless network upgrade that consists of a simulcast system operating on the PATH VHF radio frequencies. Simulcast radio communication systems are a viable and effective means for communicating within subterranean environments. These types of systems are used to integrate multiple technologies such as mobile and private radio systems. Quality Communications will team up on the deployment with RF Design and Integration Incorporated www.rfdesign-int.com (RFDI), a systems integrator based in the Philadelphia area. RFDI is a highly skilled organization that has extensive experience in simulcast systems in the wireless sector.
