City of Cape Coral Selects WPCS for Wireless Network

EXTON, PA-- (PRNewswire-FirstCall) – November 15, 2006 -- NASDAQ:WPCS - News) – WPCS International Incorporated (NASDAQ: WPCS), a leader in design-build engineering services for specialty communication systems and wireless infrastructure, has announced that, through its Southeastern Communication Service (SECS) subsidiary, it has been selected to design and deploy a wireless public safety network for the City of Cape Coral, Florida.

The city-wide wireless network will link Cape Coral’s centralized public safety headquarters with its eight police and fire stations. It will also accommodate three new fire stations scheduled to be built in the next two years. The installation will incorporate the new 4.9 GHz wireless frequencies recently authorized by the FCC for public safety use. The wireless network will be designed with advanced technology to provide efficient voice and data links between the police and fire stations as well as integrate the recently acquired Mobile Incident Command Vehicle.
